All of CONTACT’s 24-hour help lines, including the two dedicated teen lines, are answered by trained, adult volunteers. Volunteers go through a comprehensive, informative and fun training class before answering the phones.
Becoming a CONTACT volunteer affords you the opportunity to reach out to your neighbors in need, while providing vital crisis intervention and prevention care to thousands of community members in crisis. CONTACT telephone volunteers are here not to give answers or advice to callers, but to listen to and empower the callers to make decisions for themselves.
COMING UP: on Tuesday, January 30th are our new Volunteer Training Classes.

Telephone volunteers must be at least 21-years-old.
